    Hi,

    Has anyone attempted using a high powered floodlight as a studio light? Just bought a 500W one but no time to test it out. No color gel to neutralise the yellow light anyway.

    I wonder if those cheap lamp from ikea suitable for mini studio shot.. I am talking about small still life. Anyone tried?

    yeah i was thinking of getting a 1000 watt flood light...
    only problem was dunno how to mount it up.... no c stand?

    Was wondering something similar..

    Is it possible to use battary powered flouresent light to light up insect macro background. Anybody tried this before??

    I don't hv the details of the light now ... will post later today ...

    well ... just a normal floodlight with interchangeable bulb. need to use blue gel to neutralise the yellow light. very very hot though ..

    cost about $50. the one i bought came with mini stands so that i can adjust then angle.

    i consider that b4 but don't think is bright enough
