take note too, that the planes and how they fly, are planned as if it's a stage performance, to let people to see this move or that move from a certain angle. and due to the flights behind over the sea (for safety concerns), the sheer distance of the planes will ensure most people will come up with very similar shots. but of course, if you're an aviation lover, you'll treasure your shots a lot. ![]() not imposing anything upon anyone, but highlighting something i've noticed. |

... not really - for myself, i went although not really an aviation lover, but i do enjoy the photography part. Well, sometimes, it is up to the photographer to be creative and capture the same thing differently. For me, due to camera limitation, I will never be able to get those clear, crisp, sharp closeups. So, instead, I used the power generator's fence (the one behind the canteen), to frame the aircrafts. Also, used the people on the ground as foreground elements to show how far up the planes were in the air. And also the tiger beer and a nice colored spectator's umbrella too, as well as the nearby lamp posts ... All for the fun of photography. ![]() Also, u can turn some interesting shots into an abstract art form too... http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=63833 Cheers! |

I have a comment on this picture. This show the jet doing a vertical climb with undercarriage.
The orientation is wrong? I am not sure a pilot will risk his undercarriage (landing gear) by doing a vertical climb before retracting it. Is it supposed to be in landscape? |

The direction of the sun from the reflection seems to be correct.

if it is really correct... the stress on the undercarriage is very strong. Vertical G is a lot of stress.
The undercarriage of the plane must be very strong... either that or the pilot garang. |
