Default Manual 135/2.8 Nikkor lens issue

This lens is marked 'Nippon Kogaku Japan Nikkor - Q serial 165***. I got it over ebay. Tried to use with FM2, works fine but cannot change aperture when mounted. Changes fine when I take out.

Have I bought wrong model itself or is it just this piece that is not correct?

Any comments/advise appreciated, tks in advance.

cannot change as in the aperture ring cant be turn when you mount the lens on yr Fm2?

yare yare, don't use the lens any more. It's probably a Non AI lens, so it lacks to lug to couple with the feeler on the camera. You might end up damanging your camera!

Really! Thanks very much. Is it worth anything in market now, since most bodies I suppose don't take them?

Don't think it's worth a lot. You probably got it quite cheap over ebay, right?
