    Exclamation Looking for Ballhead ONLY

    Hi, anybody here knows where can i buy just the ballhead only. i am very satisfied with my tripod already, but i want to change the ballhead only. please reccommend or any body selling? thanks.

    whats ur budget?
    markins ballheads are really good.
    any photography shop will have ballheads to sell to u.
    as for 2nd hand, look out at the B&S section

    be careful, not all tripods can change the ballhead.

    best to specify what model you have now.

    thanks guys, i saw a thread in this forum, directs me to this http://www.artworkfoto.com/tripod.html, i dont know if the brand is well known. but very light and its steady. problem is only the head. thanks. and yes, the head can be change

    Look at the top of the forum... Click Search -> Advanced Search

    Type ballhead into the box then choose the forum at the bottom right as Buy/Sell: Photographic Accessories.

    Hundreds of results!

    save up and get acratech with quicjk release.

    bet you never used Acratech for 1:1 macro.. it CREEPS...

    TS better save up for Markins, RRS, or Arca Swiss...

    get rails for macro, i don't know hard core macro(if you do 1 to 1 you are hardcore) photographers that uses ballhead for macros?
    wouldn't that be a pain in the butt to macro 1 to 1 with a ballhead? then you would have to move your entire set up to focus correctly, or ask the insects to move further and closer?how would that work?

    john shaw... google yourself...

    though there are pros using geared heads... but it's even more expensive and much heavier...

    i would say TS should be getting a cheaper brand if he doesn't mind the creep... or save up for the 3 brands mentioned... those 3 brands rarely got users complaining about creeping... Acratech not here not there... i rather top up a bit for Markins...
