Default Chrome not respecting colour profiles?

Are other people having the same problems? Chrome does not seem to respect the colour profiles on my photos, they look wildly incorrect in Chrome on my Flickr account, is there anyway to resolve this quickly by adjusting the photos, in Photoshop or otherwise? I have no such problems in Firefox

I'm not sure if this is a problem unique to my photos, my computer, or my browser.

Here is my Flickr for reference: http://www.flickr.com/photos/45743246@N03/

Update: I just tried IE and I have the same problem there.

My photos are in ProPhoto RGB, should I use sRGB instead?

    Colour space aware browsers are:
    -- Safari from Apple and
-- Firefox (automatic colour space recognition from version 3.1 onwards)

Not colour space aware browsers are:
    -- Internet Explorer from Microsoft
    -- Chrome from Google
-- Opera (if I remember correctly)

Photos in ProPhoto RGB colour space are best handled by colour space aware browsers. Non colour space aware browsers assume sRGB colour space.

Usually, it is prudent to maintain posted images in sRGB colour space as site visitors may not have a colour space aware browser like Firefox or Safari

Thanks Squid, that was very informative and straight to the point.

Its quite disappointing that browsers from companies like Google and Microsoft lack something as basic as this.

From Google it's easy to understand... Chrome is just a toy for them, nothing serious.

As for Microsoft, well, i've always said the only thing IE is good for is to download Firefox.
