CP5700 Hung experience

Just curious if anyone else had this experience where the 5700 overheats and hung. It basically just do not respond at all to any of the function / buttons. Have to power off and on to get it back to operations.

This happened to me yesterday at the AA2004, while watching the air display under the hot sun. Out of all the shots I took, about 15 of them were partially damaged or incomplete. When opening on PS, it would complain, but if i go ahead and continue loading, I see a white strip at the bottom of the image. Exif data still intact though.

First time I encountered an overheating problem.
