Hmm my all-time favorite is Mamee, Lontong flavour
Add one egg and don't utilise the full packet of seasoning else it's too salty
Not as common here, perhaps it's a Msian thing
The last time in uni, I went back to my hometown, my friends asked me to get something special
And I returned with 15 glorious packets! No one was thrilled except for me
Just recently, have found out you can get it at Sheng Shiong yay!
Still on the topic of instant mee, I've seen so many different ways of cooking.
1) The basic way of boiling water, make the soup stock first, then noodles in, and cook
2) While water is boiling for noodles, use hot water to dilute the seasoning first before pouring in with noodles
3) Finish cooking noodles without putting anything in. Then remove noodles, add some of the leftover 'water', then add seasoning to make the soup. Or in this case, a very 'gao' sauce/gravy
Endure. In enduring grow strong.
My fave was the Indomee Mee goreng since I was 10.
But up to recently, I find that they no longer taste as nice as before.
So I switched to the "ChuQianYiDing" brand's Mee Goreng (extra soya).
IndoMie Mi Goreng FTW!
