Extended warranty option for D70?
When you guys got the D70, was there an option for extended warranty and how much did it cost?

4 years extended warranty. total 5 years: 1 year Nikon warranty + 4 years by HN. covers parts and labour. paid $147, seems a reasonable amt to pay for peace of mind. ae |

I beleive in the places like Harvey Norman / Courts, they sell by the Retail Price not by the street price.
In case of D70, Harvey Norman / Courts sell approx 190$ more as compared to street price. On top of it you will to add additional $$$ for extended warranty.. vroom, if you dont mind, can you share how much you paid for... Thanks |

i got a free 128Mb CF included + a Nikon camera bag (supposedly worth $99, i really got no camera bag at all so this will do for the time being). din want the small CF so she gave me $80 off. total is $2208 for body + lens, $147 for +4 yr warranty, $260 for 512Mb CF. AP sells $2100 basic package without anything. at HN, can use credit card for interest free instalments n got option for extended warranty. so seemed like an ok deal to me. ae |
