Default AA2004 - My Take

today didn't started out well for me....my piece of expensive plastic (ExpoDisc) decided to take a dip in the sea...and off it went...and plunged into the shallow water...(must be the hot weather)..but luckily, the tide was low and i managed to rescue it from drowning, and prevented burning another hole in my pocket...

here're what i got today...

Hey man, can I take your pictures?

Can you pose with a "PEACE" sign? Just like those Japanese tourists?

you've misunderstood me. i'm asking if you set your D100 to Cloudy White Balance, not if you changed your WB after shooting flying display....

Tickets available for sale at the site itself. Abt $21 if I'm not mistaken. If you want to shoot the aerial displays, wait at the beach near SAF Ferry Terminal. Best view there. It will start at 11.30 a.m sharp. Bring the longest lens u have.

Info on the event can be found at: http://www.asianaerospace.com

ok, relax la.

was asking that because i found a fair lot of nikon users having an obvious yellow cast to their photos - some cases, i can tell a picture's taken with a nikon JUST by looking at the yellow cast... although it could be any other brand.

recently i raised the point to two nikon users, and at least one of them demonstrated this is apparently because of some users using a Cloudly +3 (or is it -3?) setting constantly.

its not exactly yellow cast...but more to green, especially in very bright and hot sunlight. and it's cloudy -3

in nikon d100 WB settings, generally, +3 will give a cooler tone while -3 warmer tone.
