Default First try for flowers

First time doing shots on flowers. Comments are really needed for improvement.

Like the vivid color! but both of them seem slightly soft, try with tripod next time.

It was taken with one hand while the other hand was holding onto a ledge beside the pond.....How to use tripod in this situation??
Btw, hellbreath, other people seem to have no problem viewing the links??

no problem viewing your pics now. "holding onto a ledge beside the pond....." ?? worry about falling into the pond rite? worry some CSers hiding somewhere to shoot u in the pond rite?

like the colors but as fujis2 said ... a bit soft

looks like over adjustment on the colours or levels? might be more rightly in the abstract section

The picture was not photoshopped in terms of colour and things like that. It has only been resized....Any way, thanks for all the comments. Will be improving on shots and things like that.
