Good composition, I like it. A little bit of blow-out on the left swan top rear but no big deal, afterall the meterng in this situation is not easy. Well done

Hi Chngpe01, thanks for the feedback. Care to share tips and trick on what is the best metering method in such situation? Always found it hard to avoid blow out for the white object like this swan .

Not sure if there is the best method cos there are many ways to meter the same subject in a given situation.

I will personally do a spot metering on the white part of the swan, than open the by about 1 to 2 stop. This is because metering on the white the camera will low the exposure ie it will be darker. As the white is lighter than the mid tone (generally palm of our hand) which is about 1 to 2 stop open from medium.

Cheers
