Default 28Feb04 AH

Still have alot of room for improvement. Took the butt at about 11am - 12noon. Too hot and the butt were too active. Anyway, it is practice time. Some camera shake were evident.

not bad for the composition but suffer softeness due to instability. I would recommend you to use a monopod.

Agree with Megaweb on the softness. Would love to see a nicer bokeh.

Some shots are very tightly compose, dont be so eager to get 1:1 lah.

Mega was the good-looking gentleman using 100mm macro, but after a while.. disappeared.

Using Flash helps to reduce shadows (sidelight and backlight). Of course, best if lighting is sufficient and flash is not needed.

Ah.. so you're guy with the sigma 180mm with flash bracket and flash mounted on the right side.

I think it'll be less strenuous if you mount the flash on the hotshoe. For butterfly shooting, flash is not the main source of lighting. It just provides a little fill-in effect for shadow areas.
