c5050 noises

when i use my c5050 there is a lot of noise literally when i start up and
when i use the optical zoom.
sounds like the motor or gear inside
is this normal and common

the optical zoom also seems to skip a little at the extreme end of wide

frustrating man

wanna get this fixed before my warranty run out man

anyone who can help???
