Really beautiful pictures with the Super Heliar and the Ricoh.
I have this lens too and the GXR is ordered. With my Leica IIIf the lens is gigantic, but I don't like film any more.

Can always shoot film when you feel like it. I still have them. Nice to bring them out sometimes.

Is yours the LTM version or the M-Mount version of the super heliar? Have fun with the combination. ;-)

You have all the Zeiss lenses isn't it. Man ... what an expensive hobby we have.

Hello, I have bought the LTM-Version. Of course I shall keep my IIIf, because this fullframe camera delivers the uncropped 12mm.
That is wide! One must be very careful to keep ones feet or hat out of the picture.
Do you develop your films yourself? With my last film I was not satisfied with the laboratory here. I am collecting stuff to develop film myself.
Digital cameras are easier to manage.

Indeed, 12mm on FF is pretty darn wide. I use the heliar on my Bessa L sometimes. I think I still have a roll in it that's not quite finished (ages since I last touch it).

If it's Black and White film, I think it's cheaper and possible more control over what you'll want to get out of your roll.

    "Digital is easier to manage"
Indeed. That's the very reason why I have opted for GXR - Digital and M-mount without the need of adapters.

I just found out that one (Japanese) Raw Processing Software already mentions the Ricoh A12M and the RICOH A16M Mount in their list of supported camera raw files ( also it's most likely DNG) . I guess software developers maybe know a bit more about whats coming, so the A16M module could be around the corner.

Just got a Jupiter 11 and test is, OOC, not bad, i like the classic rendering, it's just not easy to get pictures at 135mm without IS plus f/4

I took a number of pictures with the GXR and OMD on my recent trip. THe GXR has its uses when it comes to mounting telephoto M mount lenses (and quite frankly, the OMD's close up magnification sucks when it comes to the number of buttons to press). Give me time to review and upload...

Indeed... anyone else actually has a A16 24-85mm to share experiences of covering an event with it?
