No .. they are already the 35mm camera equivalent. SO it's like what you've indicated - 28, 50 etc.

Oh! Awesome! Thank you for helping clear things out for me. I really appreciate that

I think I might start off with the 28 2.5 first.

That's what I started with, until I got onto the slippery slope of getting the M-Mount module. This really open up so many arsenal of legacy lenses from the various brands for me. With the KIPON R/M adapter, there's even more. FDs, PK, C/Y etc etc... endless.

And the focus peaking really helps! Especially with a macro lens. I would still get it right in a DSLR, but with the Ricoh, it's lighter and way easier for me. ;-)

An example of a still-life macro image of my favourite film from Kodak.

    GXR + A12 M + Kipon PK-R/M + Panagor PMC Auto Macro 55mm f2.8

I really need to shoot more with the macro setup up I just got. More for flowers though...

First Sunrise shoot of 2012 for me, but din shoot any sunrise

Favorite landscape setup these days GXR+Voigtlander 12mm/5.6 LTM. Had a few shots with Hitech square filters. Some color cast so decided to do it in B&W. C&C welcome on how to improve

    One with color before sunrise

Shutter lag is more a problem if shooting in single shot mode, there's a lag in between shots. Continuous mode is ok. Otherwise it's ok for me, I'm using GXR+A12 Mount btw. Sony 5N is certainly better in shutter lag, not sure 3/5/c3.

Found a new way to attach the Cokin Wide P filter on the VT without the filter adapter. Probably easier as well, since you don't have to worry about light leaks. Will share when I get the chance.

It was a play around in terms of exposure. Sometimes, different bits generate different moods. Of course the one big problem is that the blistering sun tends to cause the sensor to overcompensate and everything went dark.

I actually took this shot in film (Solaris 400) on that same day and I quite like the effect.

Tried Nikon 24-85mm f/2.8-4D AF on D300s and GXR a while ago, both cameras on default sharpness using same exposure settings, i can see from 100% crops GXR consistently produced sharper results.

AF lens on GXR? Does it mean that you are taking your pictures wide open?

Another attempt with the adapted macro lens ...

Nikon D lens has aperture ring, so can control on aperture on lens.

Interesting, thanks for sharing info! GXR is pretty amazing, the fact that D800E (no AA filter) is selling more expensive ($1000) than D800 shows how good a feature it is, GXR is certainly a well engineered camera.
