How is the image quality of the D70 vs D100 and S2Pro, esp at ISO 800?
How are the skin tones of the D70? My lab used to tell me that the D100 images usually have a magenta cast which was very difficult to get rid of. No problem with Canon and Fuji though. Wonder whether the D70 is better is this respect? |

So far all the indoor pix of people are slightly better than the D100, both with flash and ambient lighting. This is probably due to the better auto WB though.

Right out of the box.. the skin tones and AWB on the D70 are much better then the D100.

That's one of the differences between pros and amateur. Pros have got other better things in life to do than to have to colour correct every single photo. Amatuers just love the process of correction which makes them feel they are in control.

haha.. I know what you mean.. one event like wedding.. shoot 450-650 images.. no time to colour correct.. have to be 99.99% accurate.. the D70 gives me that confidence.. |

How does the dynamic range compare to the S2Pro? Especially the white details like in wedding gowns? |

unless of course the D70 can produce images that dont need ANY correction, then thats admirable and worth getting. |
