Talking The only bird I manage to catch with my lens ..

... on the way home and suddenly the bird posed and tempt us to take picture, if you happen to see two fella suddenly drop all their bags and unpack the camera in SBG last saturday that us ...

Appreciate if you have any comment for improvement

Hi bangkuangz,

Not knowing your setup & that you took this in a jiffy, I'll say that is a very good attempt.

Some fill-in flash will make the pic better, but I supposed you don't have time to fit the external flash, you can try the built-in flash the next time such oppt strikes.

Hi thanks for the comment .. to be honest I don't have an external Flash to start with ... agree with your comment on the internal flash duh! ..

Anyway .. this is the best shot out of 5 (in which most of them either blur or not nice )

there is a few attempts by me when a bird is posting there and like luring me to shoot it. den i quickly unpack my bag out. and by the time i put my eye to the viewfinder.. it fly away.............. i was like sticking my eyes in the viewfinder and stoning there.

skillful of u able to capture it!

Hi Y0ngcheng,

Thanks for the comment .... not much skill involve here but luck ... try to re-take the picture the other day but no birds show up ..

Anyway I think you will have better luck if you go to SBG early morning.

Fill-in flash is important in that it also highlight the details of the bird. Patience and luck do play an imporant part too. Keep shooting.
