Hi bangkuangz,
Not knowing your setup & that you took this in a jiffy, I'll say that is a very good attempt. Some fill-in flash will make the pic better, but I supposed you don't have time to fit the external flash, you can try the built-in flash the next time such oppt strikes. |

... agree with your comment on the internal flash duh! ..Anyway .. this is the best shot out of 5 (in which most of them either blur or not nice ) |

there is a few attempts by me when a bird is posting there and like luring me to shoot it. den i quickly unpack my bag out. and by the time i put my eye to the viewfinder.. it fly away.............. i was like sticking my eyes in the viewfinder and stoning there.

Thanks for the comment .... not much skill involve here but luck ... try to re-take the picture the other day but no birds show up ..Anyway I think you will have better luck if you go to SBG early morning. |

Fill-in flash is important in that it also highlight the details of the bird. Patience and luck do play an imporant part too. Keep shooting.
