Default Alert: Thief encountered at Sengkang Riverside Park

Havn't a clue where to post this but thought should send a gentle reminder to all who intend to visit Sengkang Riverside park.

I lost 2 memory cards while shooting outfield today. Of interests my flash, which is of higher value left intact.

Do take care of your stuff in field. This is my first encounter in Singapore but guess I was too relaxed. Fellows do take note. I have also requested the police to consider patrolling this relatively new park to act as deterrent but i guess ultimately i think the individuals play a greater role.

can you give more details as to how you lost the memory cards?

i'll be blunt, i don't see how you can lose memory cards unless you left them unattended...

u r rite, i left my pack w spare mems n flash under shelter and walk 30m away to shoot some birds. hav been doing this for many years for that place but i guess i pushed my luck. i did sighted a man in blue t n black shorts before e event when i took a breather 30m away. we locked gaze for a moment but i did not detect anomaly. i returned 20mins later to find my pack partially unzipped...

i hav a habit of keeping an eye for my stuff even when shooting guess i let my guards down this time round as i was in a prone position cant turn my head

well, on the bright side, at least your flash wasn't taken

i think that probably cost more than the memory cards unless you bought sandisk top end 16gb one x 5

Funny how he only took your memory cards, a small light in view of the misfortune I guess!
