Hiya, has anyone been to this one yet? I must admit it's been awhile since I last visited the museum. Thinking of going there tomorrow afternoon.

Am just a bit peeved that someone hacked into the National Museum website.
    Looking for ticketing pricing info

Wonder if that's what their focus group testing showed them: that the museum-going crowd are large purchasers or erectile dysfunction medicine. Real morons.

Go early if you really want. Seriously. I went there today, it was a long long queue to buy tickets. And when you go in, the place is quite swamped with people and little kids running around and shouting, spoiling the museum experience. If you have never been to the upgraded museum, I suggest that you purchase the ALL GALLERY ticket for 20 dollars, just 4 dollars more from the 16 dollars for the Egypt exhitbition and view the Singapore History gallery as well where theres far less people and very nicely done up with the audio guide. Seems no one is interested much in Singapore History except tourists.

    Thanks for the info
Sometimes it's fun being the tourist on a weekend

Guess I'm gonna claim time instead and pick an off day to go instead
    Museums must be savored

I shudder at the thought of little kids running around in the museum
Brought my folks to the Flyer (corporate pass) the week before Christmas
Imagine being stuck in a capsule with 9 hyperactive kids
And parents who nonchalantly looked away after being asked politely if they could help keep the noise level down
Not in a hurry to replicate that experience

Did you take any photos? Is it specifically dimly-lit?
I remember giantcanopy's pictures, which were quite nice, even though it must have been dark
