    Default Flash pouch Recommendation

Hi just needed some advice on getting a flash pouch.

I'm using a Lowepro Rezo AW160 at the moment to hold one body, two lens.
    (Nikon D5000, DX 18-70 & 50 1.4 AI )

I understand that the advice is to get a bag that has potential for expansion of future gear... the thing is that I'm getting a Nissin Di622 flash (and maybe a lambency diffuser) next week, not too sure if it will fit inside.

Hence, was wondering if i should get a flash pouch which I can velcro on the outside of my AW160. Of course I can keep the flash in its soft pouch in my chapalang backpack whenever I go out.

Considerations... budget is tight...poor student.. any recommendations? Hopefully under $50?
    Where to get?

If not the way out is to keep separately... and just upgrade a bag in the longer run...

(Longer run would still like a not too bulky sling bag, just basic gear for hobbyist. Maybe an additional DX 35 1.8 end of the year if can spare the $$$ LOL. Finally realizing what some ppl meant when they told me it's a financial sinkhole when I was considering to move towards DSLR )

    Thanks people!

SAF "China" Bag on the cheap is good but if you can get your hands on a field medic bag, more or less can hand down to your grandchildren.
You wont see me much less remember me but i am the guy who makes you look good.

sorry you're referring to these as flash pouch or main bag then get inserts?

Both bags are sling right? The SAF "China" Bag the only thing that comes to mind is the black cloth sling bag. Don't know how DNG makes it now.

LOL on the other hand it would be quite funny to have a medic bag.

hey thx i saw the flash pouch on that thread!

just to update, i'm still waiting to see the size of the flash before i make a decision. was at cathay marina square today, they ran out of flash pouches, next best compromise would be the cylindrical lens cases.... i borrowed one of the sb600 to test the approximate space needed...it still would fit in my current rezo 160... so got to see how it goes when i pick up the flash on monday!

    thanks for the help guys!

alternatively buy a 2nd hand rezo 190AW then sell off your bag
    Nikon D7000 : Tamron 17-50VC f2.8, SB-900
    Nikon D90 : Nikon 18-105 VR, SB-600

hi all, update, i've gotten hold of my nissin di622 and its actually larger than my bag (lowepro AW160)dimensions by a bit, but managed to squeeze it in by tilting the flash at a slight angle and also thanks to the stretchy material of the bag.

maybe i'll upload photos when i got the time.

probably will do for a while but don't really have space if i were to get a lambency diffuser (or if i were to expand by one more lens anytime).

guess i'll consider Mad Martian's recommendation!

(now I need to learn some basic on-hotshoe flash techniques lol)
