handheld, using 28-135 IS with Cir Pol on 10D...

Manual setting at 1/400 @ f5.6

Maybe shouldn't have used the cir pol.... but then again... I do admit that rattling off like a GPMG and chasing the planes with the center focus sensor...my bad

I wondering how is it like to shoot at 135mm? Do you do a lot of cropping?

Try something like 1/1250s range and without the C-PL, and do use a hood, or prepare to loose lotsa contrast.

AI Servo tracking on your 10D should work well.... at least it works pretty well on my slow D60.

no hood used... saw your pics only after I shot those...should have used higher shutter speed... BTW your's was excellent, especially the rafael you shot on the preview.

The AI tracking was superb..can track the plan from left to right...but can lose tracking when the planes flies too far away.... of course for my case... it's already very small.
