    Question Wonders in PS

    Hi,

Just wondering, can I do wonders in Photoshop to remove the shadow? This is the one and only one roll of film that I have encountered with an hair stuck at the film.

    Regards.

Yup you can. Try using healing and cloning tools.

    Hello, PhotoTime.

Here is a not too thorough attempt (still some bits of hair left).
I used your original file from the Gallery.
Of course it can be done much better with smaller brush radius and a sharper, clearer original photo.
But thought maybe this could be an example?

Wow, that's is fast! Are you using healing and cloning tools? If yes, what is the brush size?

PhotoTime, pardon my very hasty attempt here. I apologise for not doing a better one...
For more detail healing and cloning, I usually use PS itself. But in your example here, to do it quickly, I actually used the Healing and cloning tool (Spot removal) in Adobe Bridge that comes with PS CS4. Brush size radius 19. Took the clones just further along the path of the rainbow so that the colours over the cloned area will look as congruent and as natural as possible.

Yes, night86mare. You are right. The file that I used from the TS's Gallery is only 39kb. Very small.

    Thanks for all the advices.

Yup, the original file is 30+ Meg, in TIF. It is scanned into the computer. I cannot do wonders in the slides, but I should be able to do it digitally.

I will try out in one of the nights.

    Thanks again.

I did this in Adobe Camera Raw with the Spot Removal Tool, in three simple steps. Took maybe 1 minute.
