    Default Adobe Gamma Problem

    Just bought a new computer system and loaded windows and stuff as usual. Adobe gamma doesnt work for me now. It will load but when i try to change the values nothing happens. Does anyone know why its like this? Help appreciated. Thank you.

    Maybe you would like to check whether do you have any other program running at the background that also does color calibration (e.g. Natural Color)? Nowadays, when u buy a new graphics card or monitor, such software is included. It might have been installed into your system.
    Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field.

    No i dont have any other software of this sort running in the background.

    are using an LCD monitor? I find it a problem calibrating LCD as some settings e.g. contrast needs to be set in the graphics adaptor. Right-click on your desktop, Property, Advance, then select the graphic card specific tab, on my nVidia cards they have specific settings for flat panel and colour correction.
