ok own up Tom, did you spray the water yourself? From experience, I suspected you did!

well, for the pic, I would say it was quite a good attempt from you. To approach a rose from an angle, I feel the tilt either make or break the shot. Very often I see a composed/exposed tilted rose a little discomforting as I find the composition somewhat off-balance.

Personally, I'd prefer to approach a rose directly from the top as I feel it has a spendid view from above.

Jas, thx for your comments. Yes I sprayed the rose, too much water I feel. The rose was not perfect in shape. This was the best angle I found. Will try again next time.

u mean u will try to spray water again?

maybe the centre of the flower is too centred in the picture.
