Preset manual? I'm on my manual now.
Preset manual (Use subject, light source, or existing photograph as reference for white balance)? Is it this?

The manual dont have settings for custom white balance.
If I'm wrong about the manual, please correct me.

Dont have a section for setting custom white balance.
But got "fine tune white balance" allow you to "increase green", "increase magenta", "increase blue" and "increase amber"
    Ahhhh..

From this post, The 2nd image, I did a setting on that.

    Something like this,

I bring the [box] over to the purple colour and i got the result as on here, 2nd image.

    Sorry for my poor english.

That looks like a Nikon dSLR menu you've got there. If you're using a dSLR, there is an option for custom white balance. I can't remember the exact name (even though I use it quite often) but Preset Manual sounds just about right. Read that section in your manual and try it out.

As for the purple floor, I guess it's because the lights there are all purple and it's shining on the floor? If you just want purple Christmas lights and normal colored floor, you gotta use a tripod, take 2 pictures with different white balance, then blend both shots in Photoshop... I say, just leave it as it is. It's a hassle to edit photos...

I also had this problem in the past when shooting night shots.
    Maybe it's overexposed?

You can try shooting a shot, -0.3EV and look at the results?
