What happens when you are underequipped in the field...
  But no probs catching this bird...   At least this little fella was kind enough to let me get close...   |

Hey gremlin, the last pic is that of a Richard's Pipit and this is a very shy bird, you got a clean shot of it, congrats!!

Gremlin, don't despair, you will get better over time. Look at "Richard's" Pipit! It is posing for you in Richard's absence today!

its a Paddyfield Pipit. they are not so shy so normally you can shoot them foraging around in the grass. nice blue sky for the aircraft tho'
