Ok me spending a lot of time in the jungle & with lots of mosquito bites (repellent wears out)... tactical movements deployed and I love the use of my monopod... (double as walking stick)... and CSBF members I present more forest birds...
Tracked down these fellows, found 3 of them, tried to get a better shot compared to the last 1, I would say slight improvement as these are very shy, constantly on the move and quite far away... ![]() Now this is a huge surprise... I think this is a Black Kite, someone else might be able to ID it better than me, pls help. I saw it eating its prey on the little bush... captured a few shots and was waiting for it to tear apart its prey, but a car came behind me and horned (me blocking the road), and it flew off... tried tracking it but failed, so just these few shots... ![]() ![]() ![]() ok, me storing my cam & lens soon, reservice for 2 weeks starting next week, so to all CSBF members, until I come back from keeping the country safe...keep shooting. |

The last shot is a unique pose. Seldom seen a bird shot with face-to-face staring straight at your lens... good closeups catch. Nice.
