i can't see the focus point, overall the subject is soft. Remember details is important in macro & try to avoid hard shadow.

The webserver is not allowing your image to be displayed outside its website. I download the image and place it in my webspace in photonski. You should be able to see the image now.



You are using Canon 10D. Your settings are as follows: 1/1000 at F4. ISO 100 at 40mm. (Are you using 17 - 40 F4L ?).

my 2cents - use a smaller Aperture e.g. F11 - F32 to get greater depth of field and sharpness. If possible shoot 1 flower instead of two as in this case the smaller flower is a distraction.
