    Hi, hope someone can enlighten me...
    took this macro shot of mum's veggies...
    but near the centre left of the above pic,
    it's very blur...

    Could it be because I didn't use a tripod?
    But then how could the right side be rather sharp?
    Feel free to comment!

    A newbie willing to learn!

    Settings used:
    1/60
    F2.5
    Evaluative metering
    Macro mode
    Iso 50

    nice try ... should have use smaller f value like f5.6 to f8.0 to make ur object in focus ...

    use larger aperture that means faster shuttle speed rite?

    ya ... but the DOF is very shallow ... only some part of the object will get in focus ...

    think you should check your light souce too... think it's a bit too brite/harsh cos the colours are a bit washed out. you could probably saturate the colours a bit more in photoshop.

    just my 2 cents worth.
