Default 1st try on still life...

I've been into photography for some time and realised that I've not tried still life shots..
These are some of my shots taken at the China-Singapore Religious and Cultural Exhibition 2009, at Suntec City..

    Camera: E-510
    Lens: 14-42mm & 40-150mm

Hi, its a good try! But taking photos at exhibitions, we have a little disadvantage because we cannot control the lighting & also the distraction of other exhibits in the bg. Quite a good shot on #1 & #6 though it looks a little soft. As for #7, I would go for the details on the vase instead of showing the bread in the bg. #5, I would have gone much closer & show more of the figurine. Overall, nive shots
    Take the shot!

For this exhibition, I brought my flash unit but only used it to bounce flash against the floor to enable me to have some light compensation..
On top of that, I shot using ISO 800..

Will look into those things that I need to change..
    Thanks for your comments..!!
