A new one would cost anything from $190 for a 4B to $300 for a 4A.

probably the second one. all three not available new anymore as the ones available new nowadays are reissues. The first one is the oldest, next come the third one then the second one. Differences between 2 and 3 is in the location of the sync terminal. Should have been made in the late 60s or early 70s.

Disregard the $50-$80 suggestion above. Cannot even get at that price at a flea market and btw, a used plastic Lubitel 166U is already $80. If it is as good as you mentioned, it should fetch At Least double that. My suggestion is don't sell it and learn to use it. It is fun and challenges your basics to the limit.

Just to clarify: when I mentioned $50-$80, I was responding to the original question: "it's pretty old but in relatively good condition. it's the seagull 4a with chinese words instead of english .. how much would it fetch?". The estimate is based on my experience with the take-in price of 2nd hand shops here. This is my take and you can verify by checking with them directly.

I agree that it's not worth to sell at this sort of price. If you have the patient/passion to learn how to use it, it does give decent results. (This is a 3E version so the sharpness is not great, and this model is well known to have reliablilty issue.)

Just my 2cents, and of course, YMMV. Cheers!

(and NO, I am not buying it coz I already have 7 sets of Rolleiflex TLR, mostly collecting dust these days. I am not selling them either. got sentimental values )

Do you mean using a 35mm film cartridge onto a Medium Format (TLR, SLR etc.)? Like this?

Japanese Invasion

Sprocket Holes
