    Default Which Flash with F80?

    hi there,

May i know which nikon flash would be compatible with F80? Compatible interms of 3D metering etc..

My budget would be 200-250 (for a used unit).

    Is sb50dx suitable?

    Thanks!

Assuming you want the most powerful units SB25,SB26,SB28 and any newer flash.
SB25 is the earliest flash that will make use of 3D Matrix Fill flash.

Would sb50dx be compatible too? How does the power of sb50dx compare up to sb25,28?

A SB50DX is compatible, but its guide number is 26M vs 44M for the flashes I mentioned and it cannot function as an automatic flash if you wish to use it on cameras of other brands. Only plus point is that its smaller and more compact.
