How to clean A80...just brought it to the beach

Hi all,

Just broought my A80 and video camera to the beach over the weekend. I think there is some cleaning involved as we were so close to the sea, sun and wind.

Kindly advise how I should clean it,with what liquid and cloth, etc.
Do I clean my video camera the same way as the Canon camera ?

Hi, jus a suggestion, maybe u can use a blower to blow out the sand or dirt on ur lens. As for the cloth, i dun know wat kind of cloth should use to clean the lens. BUt for the outer casing, nomal cloth can be use to wipe away the dirt. but i think dun use any liquid to wipe. the liquid might slip into the camera and spoil the chip inside.

For my case, I'll usually use a soft brush(for water-colour painting type, close to 1cm thick brushes) to brush away those dust or sand if the blower couldn't removed it.
