Default Weather in Asustralia for cameras

    Hi,

Just wondering if we need to get the dry box for our cameras if we plan to stay in Australia for 3 years.

    Anyone can advice ?

Australia is big. Where there? Once you know that, you can look online for the humidity there.

    why not?

its relatively inexpensive and unless you intend to take out your camera gear often, its a pretty wise investment to have one.

My gear has survived 6 years without a dry box, without a problem - but I use my gear regularly
It is the camera, not the photographer.

The summer months in Sydney are pretty hot and humid and a dry box might be a good idea. Melbourne has relatively low humidity even in the summer months as it is further away from the equator.
