It's decent and the zoom is nice.
The AF doesn't work well above 3x to 4x zoom though.
Polarizing & UV lenses require the fitting of the included lens hood. This extends the length of the lens barrel and does block the built-in flash a little. ie. Get external flash.
The camera has a bit of problem with low light conditions.

If it's having the same focusing and noise problem under low light cindition like my previous FZ1, it's not 'a bit of problem'....
