The Photographic Society of Singapore has a range of courses catered to the various interest of the photographers. The Society's motto is to promote photography as a people's art, and welcome anyone who is interested in photography to join as a member and take up the course.
The Basic Photography course is the most popular one. This is the course to go for those who wants a refresher course or for those new into photography. There is a whole range of other courses like Digital Photography, Digital Darkroom course, studio course, Travel & Creative photography, B/W darkroom technique course, Fashion photography course, documentary photography course etc.
Do feel free to log on to www.pss1950.org or call 63343361 to look for Grace for more enquiries. The Society is located at Selegie Arts Centre, opposite Paradiz Centre, directly above Mr Bean Cafe. The Society also runs the Loke Wan Tho Gallery. Do look out for the exhibitions.
The Society opening hours are:
Mon to Fri : 2pm to 10pm
Sat to Sun: 12pm to 6pm
Facilities include darkroom, studio, classrooms, gallery, member area, a digital lab with Epson 7600 large format printer and Mitsubishi dye sub printer.
Take up a hobby for life.
