    either shoot macro, or zoom furthest, but the subject come as close as possible.

    You cannot shoot bokeh. There's no such thing. You CAN, however, blur the background.

    To do this, you follow the steps that are documented in the 1,001 sites that discuss depth of field.

    how to throw background out of focus

    1) use small f stop (large aperture)
    2) long focal length
    3) subject distance to camera must be small compared to background distance to camera

    easiest way to do this is macro. taken with a sony h2 2-3 years ago..
