which rink were these photos taken at? definitely not singapore - my guess is malaysia or hk...

It was at Sunway pyramid mall, Subang, M'sia.
... not very cold there, so the ice were melting badly; slippery;

At least its better than the one at Jurong.

As for the photos, I would think its a good try but would be better if you managed to get some expressions of the people skating.

If you are shooting panning shots, try not to shoot diagonally(I know I'm talking nonsence again ). Or you can look for someone to pose a standing still among the crowds, then using slow shutter speed about 1 sec to show movement around him/her. Just a thought.

yeah, but do u think it is realistic? Capturing facial expressions of people in movement while panning your camera would require that person to look at your camera at the same angle while he/she skates ... best i could get is the santarina look (1st pic)...
