    Composition and lighting

    2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
The photo intent to reflect the beginning of the day for construction work

    3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
Taken when i was walking to my office, doin my OT. Apparently there are more unluckier people than me, had to work in holiday, under the hot sun

    4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
Well it was taken from down below, might be able to get better picture from higher platform.
I cropped it to 100% to get the detail and the line.

The crop is abit too tight. .. show more sky above.
Clone or crop away the 2nd crane at the back if you know how.

The sun at the top does not depict the beginning of the day for construction work.
In fact, construction work is 24hr.

But the sun does show the harsh environment these cranes gone through daily.

interesting composition and lighting. that bit i must say u have succeeded. however, photo intent wise, doesn't really show the starting of the day.

for composition, it would be better if it weren't so tight. show both cranes completely will be much better.
