If this is your window pane, try to clean it up with some glass cleaner or better still wax it smooth.( the exterior, I mean ) Wait for the next rainfall, and you will see water droplets with a new life, catch some while it slides down, this is not too difficult. The problem which I had encountered is to get a very good dark and graduating backgrd. To create this effect in studio is not a problem, but to capture in real life situation is really a challenge ( normally I would like to use the word difficult ).

It has got three condition to satisfy....

    * got to be right time ( when it's raining )
    * right place ( when you're at home and not elsewhere )
    * right light ( not raining at nite, or too overcast )

usually the good time is when the rain is almost over.
