Thread: What will you bring along?

  1. #21

    With me it depends...

Some days I could take all or most of my gear which includes ....

D100, F80s, 20/2.8, 35/2, 50/1.8, 85/1.8, 180/2.8, 24-85, 24-120VR, SB80DX flash, Kenko extension tubes, various filters, film, batteries, CFC's, cable release, torch, Manfrotto 190 tripod and so on packed into a Lowepro Nature Trekker AWII

I will have another camera to add/carry around in a couple months to the above, I have a D70 on order. Plus maybe 2 more lenses, a 60/2.8 Micro and 70-200VR with 1.4TC

Or like today I went out with just the F80s, 50/1.8 and a spare roll of film in my pocket.

My usual lite kit at the moment is the D100 plus 24-120VR with 5 spare CFC's, 1 extra battery, blower brush/cleaning stuff in a bum bag along with my mobile phone and wallet.

Depending on what I am going out to photograph and what I take I have a few bags to choose from...

Lowepro S&F Reporter 200AW, Lowepro ProMag 2, Lowepro Rover Light, Lowepro Nature Trekker AWII and a CamelBak Rim Runner converted to a camera bag.

As for the weight of all the gear combined I have never checked and to lazy to work the total from the specs in manuals/brochures.
