1st pic is awesome! BUT there're some distractions at the foot of the mountains, that made the picture a little off-perfect.

2nd picture is a little weird at the right side. After the black strap, is it another landscape picture

4th picture can be really nice without the railings. But i judging from the picture, i assume you took it in a vehicle whilst it's moving along the road is it?

Hi behyx, thanks for your comments!!
for the first picture, shot it from the hotel and it's freaking cold! I was standing at the balcony in the room taking the picture so the bottom part was actually part of the hotel.... can't really take the view if i was lower actually but I guess the angle can definitely be improved upon...

agree that the 2nd picture horizon a little weird.... actually i happened to see the reflection and quickly whipped out my camera and took it... before the wind flung the door open or someone walk out of the hotel (the glass is the front door of the hotel)
anyway made a slight adjustment to the picture liao... hoepfully looks a little better...

for the 4th picture i guess can crop but think the feeling will be a little different... anyway ya you're right, i took it from a car on the way... we saw the rainbow so he stopped a little while to let us take the picture..
I guess I should have gone down to take but the wind was so strong so I figured there would be more camera shake.... hhmmmm maybe something can be done in PS? hhmmmmmm

sorry OT ..

But check it out .. its something out of LORT

Nit Pick No.1 Mt Cook at dusk : Was it 2 pictures "stitched" together? Cos if it was .. the "stitching"'s pretty good except for the sky , the shade is distractingly fake.

And No.4 Edmund Hilary's statue : The dude looks distractingly distorted by the wide angle lens . Perhaps u could have move back a little and zoomed in.

Other than that i like these 2 shots, First because of the wonderful colours that u captured and 2nd for the nice shadows ( would make a nice portrait )

Cheers

Hi Jazer, thanks for your comments!
actually for the first picture it 3 pictures stitched together.... the colours were actually changing super fast at that time so think i was too slow in taking the pictures especially the 1st 2 pictures...
that's why the shade is a little weird but there was a little bit of shade there too... just not that much i guess

*sighz* must learn how to take these kinda pictures faster..

as for the last picture, probably because i was using wide angle and taking the picture bottom up... will take note of that next time... thanks for the tip!
