Nice try but I guess the focusing is not there. What lens are you using?

hi. focus as in highlights of the picture or general focusing accuracy? did it on manual focus on a sigma 18-50 dc macro!

In general. If you are using a macro lens, can't you get closer to the subject? (hand held? no tripod)
For example, in your 1st picture, your idea of the shoot is a droplet. Why show so much of the flower and just a tiny droplet? Makes no sense to me. Be specific on what you want to shoot. Since all your photos got water droplets in them, just name the series as water droplets & go closer shoot what's related to your heading (Hey first time doing water droplets. please comment to help improve thanks!)
    Hope this helps

ah okay. but it's not a true macro lens. so it can't go 1:1. it's about 1:3 if i'm not wrong.
