Default Comments on 5050/5060

Hi,

I am a novice in photography and would like some help on the following before deciding which camera to buy:

I have read many articles on the 5050/5060 comparison and am puzzled for the following:

1. Some reviews claim that 5060 perform very well even at low lighting conditions. Is this true?

2. 5050 has a brighter lens. How to compensate that for the 5060 for a given low light situation?

Alvin.

PS: I like the 5060 but am concern with the not so bright lens as compared to 5050.

2. camera will "compensate" by using a slower shutter speed for the same lighting conditions compared to the 5050.

Say 5060 at 2.8 using 1/30 and 5050 at 1.8 using 1/60 without flash but both mounted on a tripod. Does this mean the two photographs taken are identical?

Can't really answer above Qns, too chim and subject to lens quality.
Faster LENS is good to have but C5050 Lens don't have any ED element.

I used to own a C5050 which is sold to Kelster. And now has a C5060W which is up for sales as I already got the Olympus E-1 DSLR.

Advantages about C5060W over C5050 are,
1. 28-110mm which is handly for indoor when space is small,
2. C5060 has ED element where C5050 dun.
3. 180deg flip LCD,
4. Got Battery Grip,
5. Li-ion Battery last longer and recharge faster than AAA,
6. Don't required Tube to attached filter to protect the lens,
7. lastly, lower noise on picture.

Just my 2 cents thought.
