Default Minolta RD-175 ....MInolta DSLR....shots

Hiee...

I have juz got an opportunity to try out this 1995 DSLR.....yup ....i mean it DSLR . Well...after studying....the system....i don't see why KONMIN would have any difficulty in creating one......the 1995 model looks great butalittle large though.....lloking a little like a polaroid.......come to think of it.....at that time.....its a breakthrough.

My first few shots.....on this RD-175....is a wowo!!!

Colors are great .....ISO 800 without obvious noise.....here are acouple of test shots...

and

Blooming+highlights handling is surprisingly very good.....

The camera has a 2x FOV multiplier. Hence my 200mm becomes 400mm on its own. With a teleconverter....yet to try...?

Regards....

interesting post. you are probably the first ever to post pics from Minolta's DSLR.

ppl who view this thread will have to keep in mind that this is technology from 1995. no point comparing with the 6Mp resolution DSLRs of today.
