Errr.. by definition all male photographers are GWC mah? right?
Actually come to think of it, quite unfair hor, how come there are no such terms for girls who claim that they are models but cannot pose?
Girl in front of a Camera?
Not that I look down on them thou.. quite a lot of times I prefer to shoot girl that just give a simple expression than those that try too hard to pose but look very salah..
aren't we all GWCs (guy or gals with cameras)?
and isn't it what we do with the camera that makes a photographer?

differentiate but not to put a label on them.
I applaud the GWCs for their sole existence, for it is only with them around that the real photographers shine.
It is the GWCs that this forum is alive (direct and indirect revenue streams) and we get good (but not really nowadays) sellers!
wei wei, who is calling on my chewy chewy babe? Currently training her to sing Christmas carol to gwc obama. You know, uncle BO holds 5D in a very new way, he will use the his left finger to release shutter and shoot my chewy chewy babe.
Enjoy the song... if it meant much to you anyway!
Chewy babe is getting younger!
Here's one to GWC:
If it's a guy holding a camera.. difficult to tell.
But if it's a lady, must be a photographer bcoz GWC is reserved for Guys only (I guess)
I wonder, how many times had we fought debated discussed stated talked about this issue.
Wonder what was/is/will be TS's intention of bringing this up, especially in his holier than thou attitude.
The way of differentiating GWC from PROfessional photographers is maybe how PROfessional models do it. Small camera=GWC, PRO bodies=PROfessional... Not forgetting if you do strobist out there, you are more PRO~~
I am NOT a PROfessional photographer and photography is NOT my hobby
