    Smile For ur opinions ;)

Hi guys, i just like to seek some opinions...

If a D90 has a shutter count of 3k plus in 2 months time, is it considered heavily used or not?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi, in my opinion, no.
In one intensive day of shooting, I can chalk up to 1000 exposures.
So 3000 shutter counts in 2 months is really low mileage.
    My humble opinion.

    its a very subjective thing.

i think before i take a picture. so to me, 3k shots in 2 months is a lot.

Yah, this is a very subjective thread. I remember when I first got my cam, I spent lots of time playing with all the various controls and only started serious shooting after a couple of months later so 3k in 2 months is a lot! Fyi, my count is just above 1k and I have this cam for 6 months! Slow, right? Haha.....

Just continue to shoot in the manner that you like. Even if you keep this up, following the D90's 100,000 shutter count rating, you can keep this up for another 63 months, or more than 5 years!

Back 4-5 yrs ago when i got my first DSLR - Nikon D50, I clocked 12k photos within the first week. That then is call heavily utilised.

But u must forgive me, becos since the day i am born, i have never bought a single camera before, and the only time i use camera is when I help others to take picture. Even during overseas trip, its my family members or friends who do the photo taking. Thus u can imagine how fascinated and curious I am with my first camera, a D50 DSLR, after 30yrs into ur life.
