Default Fuzzy LCD screen - Canon A40

My new Canon A40 has this fuzzy LCD screen, is this normal? You can see lines running across across the screen.

if its under shelter or low light its normal to get a fuzzy lcd screen... if under bright light or sunlight the lcd should not be fuzzy...

u can oso try this... in the dark. use ur "fuzzy lcd" to focus on a lamp maybe... after taking the shot.. go review it.. it should not contain any fuzziness.. if there is then u better go change the cam...
