    Default viewing from different monitors....

    just a question...
when i edit the pics (auto contrast etc) on my comp, the colours are to my preference, however when viewed through another comp monitor...they look kinda bleached.

    so how???

Make sure your monitor is calibrated properly. At the very least, use the Adobe Gamma utility to make the adjustments. All other monitors will look different unless they are calibrated, but at least you know your image is "correct" on a "Standard" monitor.

Expensive way : Buy ColorVision Monitor Spyder ($290 for CRT version, $890 for CRT/LCD version) and follow instructions.

Cheap way : Run Adobe Gamma, follow on-screen instructions.
