I gave mine to the reptile park beside the jurong bird park some years ago. I called them on phone before bringing the pet down.
I'm not an irresponsible pet owner. Its just that over the years, the tortoise grow so big that the biggest fish tank i can find is not big enough for it. It has a bit of problem turning its body in the tank. So no choice i need to get it go.
DO NOT release the tortoise into ponds/lakes/rivers. It wont survive.
release in chung cheng high school (main)'s lake
(although a lot of people really did that when i was still there LOL)
i know the school song!
Why dont u take some pics and post in this thread .. some people may want to adopt them
anyways, if you release the tortoise, chances are if it was always domesticated it will die very fast.
or cause other tortoise to die as well, because of diseases etc.
wah...i'm a bad person...maybe evil...i released my lorhans & tortoises at woodlands park pond...but till now...i've not heard about them being dead... maybe they've grown bigger... lets also pray for their health...
I also need to release my tortoises. Not sure where is the safest place as well.
